epa02179929 An undated handout picture provided by the Egyptian Supreme Council of Antiquities on 30 May 2010 shows a view of a tomb discovered by a mission of the Faculty of Archaeology at Cairo University, in Saqqara, Egypt. The tomb of Ptah Mes, arm leaderroyal scribe, was uncovered by the mission in the 19th dynasty (1203-1186 BC) cemetery of top governmental officials, which is located at the southern side of the ramp of king Unas' pyramid in Saqqara. It is 70m longcomposed of a number of corridorschapels, accroding to Dr. Zahi Hawass, Secretary General of the Supreme Council of Antiquities. Excavations will continue at the tomb in an attempt to find the main shaft of the tomb, which will lead to the burial chamberthe deceased?s sarcophagushis funerary equipment were placed.
