Enka Insaat 2009 Net Profıt Try816.094m Vs Try770.8m
Turkish constructionenergy firm Enka Insaat (ENKAI.IS) Tuesday posted a consolidated net profit of 816.094 million Turkish lira ($528.1 million) in 2009.
The company posted a net profit of TRY770.8 million in 2008.
The company didn't give a reason for the increase, but according to the stock exchange's Web site, it stemmed from falling cost of sales.
The company's income from sales fell to TRY7.9 billion in 2009 from TRY9.022 billion a year earlier, while cost of sales dropped to TRY6.4 billion from TRY7.6 billion.
