According to a new figure released by NEBE, the ruling Ethiopian People's Revolutionary Democratic Front (EPRDF) led by Prime Minister Meles Zenawi won 93 per cent of the seats. Earlier the same day, thousands of EPRDF supporters gathered in capital to celebrate the coalition's landslide victoryto protest against international criticism that the elections have been 'unfair'.
