Media reported that Hopper died aged 74 on 29 May 2010. The actor had been diagnosed with advanced prostate cancer in 2009. He became famous for his 1969 American road movie 'Easy Rider' which he wrote, directedstarred in. Hopper's prolific acting credits include the films Rebel Without A Cause, Apocalypse Now, Blue Velvet, River?s Edge, Hoosiers, The Indian Runner, True Romance, Speed,Waterworld.
