epa02173456 MPs clap their hands in the session hall after the parliament passed the dual citizenship law in Budapest, Hungary, 26 May 2010. The law allows ethnic Hungarians to apply for citizenship if they can show they are of Hungarian originspeak the language. They would not have to stay in Hungary to get citizenship, but, at the same time, they would not be granted voting rights. The amendment was passed with 344 votes in favour, 3 against5 abstentions.
