epa02126593 An Envisat's MEdium Resolution Imaging Spectrometer (MERIS) image of Iceland acquired on 21 April 2010 at 13:36 CEST provided by the European Space Agency (ESA). The Icelandic Meterological Office said on 21 April 2010 the volcano under the Eyjafjallajoekull glacier was spewing only a little smokeash. The smoke plume was reaching a height of 3 kilometres, compared with 11 kilometres a few days ago. Other Activity at the volcano also decreased. This was believed to be due to the amount of eruptive material already ejected, which reduced pressure, the agency said.  EPA/ESA HANDOUT  EDITORIAL USE ONLY/NO SALES
