epa02178749 An Indian horse cart worker seen  at a stable  in Delhi, India on 29 May 2010. The charm of riding a horse cart in the by-lanes of old Delhi may soon  be lost. According to reports the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) plans to pull off around 250 tongas or horse carts that ply in the old Delhi area. The civic authority has decided not to renew the licences of tongawalas or horse cart owners, that will expire this month end. The Municipal Corporation of Delhi plans to take the slow paced tongas or horse carts off the road to decongest traffic.  EPA/ANINDITO MUKHERJEE
