epa02127809 John Elkann, the new president of Fiat,  near the Italian Ministry of Activities' Production,he met Minister Claudio Scajola 22 April 2010 to present the government's new industrial plan for Fiat. Italian car giant Fiat unveiled 21 April details of a five year strategic plan, including the by-year-end separation of its auto business from its constructiontruck business. Labour unionsItalian government ministers have in recent months expressed concern over Fiat?s commitment to Italy, especially in the wake of the company?s acquisition of a controlling stake in troubled US car maker Chrysler.
