Three people diedhundreds were evacuated after heavy rain caused flash floods across southern Poland, officials said Monday. One man drowned late Sunday in a river in Koszarow, local media reported. The man had jumped into the river to save his son, whom he managed to drag ashore, but was himself then carried away by a strong current.
