epa02182878 Sri Lanka Railway?s ' Airport Express ' a luxury air-conditioned train service from the island?s international airport to the city passing its intended destination of the Secretariat Halt but continuing to the tourist spot of Mount Lavinia on the suburbs of Colombo , 01 June 2010 . The train service to the island?s Bandaranaike International Airport ( BIA ) to Colombo was discontinued about a decade ago . However with the security situation back to normalthe Indian International Film Academy Awards ( IIFA ) bring held from June 3 to 5 , this service has been resumedwill continue as a vital service to air travelers . Sri Lanka intends to boost its tourism further as the industry earned some USD 350 million last yearthe attempt to increase it to USD 500 million this year .
