Trakya Cam, Saınt Gobaın In 50-50 Russıan Glass Plant Jv

Turkish flat glass company Trakya Cam Sanayii AS (TRKCM.IS)French building materials manufacturer Saint Gobain will invest a total of $250 million to build a glass manufacturing plant in Russia, Trakya Cam said Tuesday.

The plants will be a 50-50 joint venture between Saint-Gobain SekuritTrakya Cam specializing in producing automotive glass.

In a statement to the Istanbul Stock Exchange the company said the plant will be built in the Republic of Tatarstan, with production expected to start in 2012.
