Turkey Central Bank Sells Try2 Bıllıon At 6.81% In Repo
The Turkish central bank Thursday boosted market liquidity by selling 1 billion Turkish lira ($650 million) in a repurchase-agreement auction.
Bids totaled TRY3.260 billion. The average simple interest rate was 6.83%,the average compound rate was 7.06%.
The repo will mature March 18.
At the last repo, held Wednesday, the central bank sold TRY2 billion at an average simple interest rate of 6.81%.
