Turkey's 2010 Auto Output Seen At 850,000-950,000 Unıts
Turkish automotive production is expected to amount to 850,000-950,000 units this year, automotive association OSD Chairman Turgay Durak said Friday.
Speaking at a conference Durak also said Turkish automotive exports were expected at 700,000-800,000 units in 2010.
Durak didn't give comparative figures but according to the last data from OSD, in the January-February period, automotive production rose 90.1% on the year to 159,086 unitsautomotive exports rose 76.8% on the year to 126,335 units.
In the whole of 2009, automotive production fell to 869,953 units from 1.147 million vehicles in 2008exports were down at 628,973 units from 910,270 vehicles.
