Turkısh Banks' February Net Profıt Up 11.6% On Year
The overall net profit by Turkey's banking sector rose 11.6% on the year to 3.579 billion Turkish lira ($2.35 billion) in February, banking regulator BDDK said Monday.
BDDK said total banking sector loans increased 10.9% on the year to TRY405.871 billion.
The sector's capital adequacy ratio rose to 20.1% from 18.1% in February 2009, BDDK added.
