Turkısh Central Bank Sells Try500 Mıllıon At 6.86% In Repo
Turkey's central bank Monday boosted market liquidity by selling 500 million Turkish lira ($335.5 million) in a repurchase agreement auction.
Bids totaled TRY2 . 060 billion . The average simple interest rate was 6 . 86%the average compound rate was 7 . 09% .
The repo matures April 26 .
At the last repo , held Friday , the central bank sold TRY1 billion at an average simple interest rate of 6 . 85% .
